Pilates is a practice that combines stretching, strengthening and relaxation. Pilates helps to tone and strenghten the body, reduce stress and tension, expand body awareness, alleviate aches and pains. Pilates exercises are aimed at increasing whole body strength, flexibility and balance. But that is not all!

Most importantly, Pilates classes offer a fantastic opportunity to put the outside world on hold and to focus on ourselves! It is a chance to reconnect to our body and treat it with respect that it deserves!
 I love to see everyone walk out of the class refreshed and energised, sparkly and joyful, grounded and relaxed, ready for any challenge that life may bring on.

Far too often our lives become so busy and hectic that we struggle to maintain a healthy body and a happy mind. We are so preoccupied to meet everybody else’s needs that we forget to maintain our own health, slipping into bad habits without even realising!

You don’t have to take my word for it! Come along to a taster class and try out Pilates for yourself!  Remember that a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step! For me Pilates is not about being perfect and “doing it right”, it is about doing what feels right for your body and gently encouraging it to change the life-long habits. I encourage you to be patient and kind to your body and to embrace the change step by step, while enjoying the process of transforming your body and your life!

The atmosphere of my classes is relaxed and friendly – you can just forget the outside world and have the special “me” time, pampering your body and soul. Pilates exercises help to relax, rebalance and destress the body after a hectic day at work or will set you for a wonderful, fulfilling day in the morning! Whether you like the cosiness of a small group Pilates class or a community spirit of larger groups, I will do my best to recommend a class that is best suited for you!

My name is Yulia and I run Pilates classes in Chelmsford.  I offer a wide variety of classes, suited for anyone- from complete beginners to advanced students. 

I create a friendly, open and warm atmosphere in my classes, where the students are encouraged to focus on their bodies, relax into the flow of Pilates and just enjoy the class as a time to de-stress and take care of themselves.
